Outdoor benches are phenomenal pieces on any front porch. Since front porches are meant for relaxing and enjoying the weather on those beautiful spring and summer evenings, most people use these outdoor benches for relaxing. Due to the contouring of the seats, they are extremely comfortable to sit in.
Even if you love gardening, re-potting plants or dividing flats can feel like a real chore if you have to scavenge for supplies in the dark corners of the garage. Park them on a dedicated workstation, however, and you'll never waste time hunting them down again. If you plan to leave it outdoors, make sure you build it from cedar or exterior-grade lumber. An indoor bench should get a weather-resistant finish, at the very least, to prevent water, soil, and fertilizer from damaging the surface. And for those of you who don't want to DIY this project, we have good news: There are potting benches on the market that suit all budgets. Just make sure the one you buy has a work surface at a 'fortable height for you. Once you start using it, you'll wonder how you ever did without this.
As our bench tops come in solid raw bamboo planks to prevent damage via transport, simply seal with any clear varnish found in any hardware store. Once sealed if there is a large build up of scratches over time simply sand it down and re-varnish for a brand new looking bench top.
One of the most important thing in bench press, is maintaining proper form. In a machine exercise this is not a major concern. But when doing the bench press with a free weight barbell requires more control of the nervous system, this makes the muscles more anabolic. A bench press negates movement to a degree. A lot of people blow of their shoulders while benching, the delts give out really early when overloaded.
But to what extent is it right? over-dependence on the bench press is what leads to narrow, low and ultimately imbalanced pec development. Not paying attention to the form to gain speed is the biggest culprit. Here's one tip that can really go a long way. If you train yourself while doing TV or listening to music then you might not be giving your hundred percent to bench press.
